The movie Whale Rider was a pretty interesting movie. Its took place in New Zealand. This story was about this young girl was supposed to be the new leader of her tride. She didn't become a new leader because she was girl. Her gradfather didn't accept her as the new leader. Girls could do it to not only boys. She could talk to the whale. When she was riding on the whale his grandfather got surpised. It felt sad when the whales were in the sand. They were trying to move whale but the whale wanted to die. When Pucker got on the whale his grandfather was surprise. Pia accepted her as the new leader.
